About
Kings Canyon High School is a continuation high school in the Kings Canyon Unified School District. KCUSD, diverse in geography and culture, serves students from a 600 square mile area, one of the largest geographic area districts in California. KCUSD has a population of 10,000 and employs approximately 1,500. Kings Canyon High School serves students that are 16 years old and older, most of which are in need of credit recovery. Kings Canyon High School serves students from the two comprehensives sites: Reedley High School and Orange Cove High School, as well as, Dunlap Leadership Academy, Mountain View School, and Reedley Middle College High School.

Kings Canyon High School provides an educational environment with academic and social supports to ensure all students can access and engage in rigorous, college and career readiness standards based instruction.
Our vision is to provide high quality, effective instruction in every classroom and to meet the needs of all students ensuring their academic success. We strive to develop graduates of both positive values and character and to prepare every student for success in a post-secondary school or job training program, career, and community.
KCHS promotes the philosophy that all students can achieve academic success. Our student-centered approach, coupled with a highly-qualified staff and a small school environment, allows for our program to reach the diverse range of student needs at our school.
